Prepared ~1 month while working (took 5 days off including exam day).
I have to say that my exam experience is a little weird. For at least 4
cases (including the 1st one), I couldn't get a clear diagnosis (no similar
cases in FA, UW, or kaplan book), and therefore not sure whether I did
history taking and PE right. Didn't finish at least 2 cases, for one no closure at all. One pt got offended by my PE, because I didn't
warn him before I percussed his back (for pulm exam). I felt I messed up 1
case, where I couldn't find out what the problem was and screwed up
But I passed, what can I say? I got several test cases instead of 1?
The right thing I did in the exam is: I stayed cool after I encountered several
unexpected/strange cases. Actually after I finished the first 5 cases,
in the break, I thought I would fail for sure and decided to take the rest
cases as a practice.
But I passed, hahaha.
