You can fix it by asking local CBP office, going to the boarder CBP
office, or applying a H4 extension at USCIS.

Asking local CBP office probably the fastest way to fix the issue if
the local CBP office agrees to help. But in some cases, it is hard to
have it done if no error was made by the CBP.

Going to the boarder CBP office is another way to do it. Many people

Your LP can apply a H4 extension to get a new H-4 I94 starting from
the expiration date in 12/2018. But you may have to wait for several
months to get it if no premium processing with an H-1 application.
