第一楼是昨天的第一步，后来陆陆续续的想到了很多补丁措施。
暂时没时间总结整理。会尽早更新补上。

版主：有空也拜托请修改总结一下合理的发动同事捐款公司match的步骤！

Besides the donation from the Chinese community here, I
think we should let more and more people know this disaster
and contribute more. So, may I ask

FACSS committee members: please forward the information
to OIP, graduate school, student organizations on campus,
charity organizations in Mississippi state (换为各位所在的国家，州), etc.
Check with HR or
related departments in University on whether there are
donation matching available. Forward the information to the
Chinese Student/Scholar organization of other
universities/colleges/schools if have not received similar
letters from them.

Faculties and staffs: please forward the information to
your colleagues and students, etc.

Alumni: please forward the information to your
colleagues, and check with your HR departments on whether
there are donation matching available. Even some small
companies DO match donation to non-profit organizations!

Students: please forward the information to your
classmates, professors, instructors, etc.

Parents: please let your children forward the information
to their classmates/friends and their parents.

Everybody: We are doing these for helping our people in
disaster. We are already much more fortunate than them. So
please do not hesitate when offering your help and please
feel free to pass this information for more people's help!

为了最大化捐款的使用效率－－－－

1. 建议学生直接捐到国内的机构，平均来说应该会更到帐快一些。

2. 工作的人先自己问问公司学校HR能不能match donation，
A. 如果不能的话，也捐国内的机构。

B. 如果公司能match，那应该是需要捐到美国（或其他国家）的有tax ID的正规机构了（
否则公司会不好办），比方该文提到的这个MercyCorps。毕竟晚到有200刀应该比早到
只有100刀的作用力大一些吧。

3. 号召外国朋友捐款，应该也是推荐到各自所在国的机构，最好是不用跑腿可以3分钟之内在网上搞定的方式。这样会方便他们捐款，最终达成的可能性更大一些。要不然一是看不懂中文，二是国内网站爆慢，接受汇款方式又太局限，会令很多人望而却步的.

我动员了周围认识的人. 还没群发信件给不认识的.

本来想给他们看几张灾区照片的. 结果刚好听我老婆说, 她有中国女友说这些照片很
disturbing, 这个女友说自己看不得. 我听了怕老外也见不得. 只好单纯文字了. 图片
的没有.

工作的朋友最好请跟公司确认一下将要捐款的网站，一是是否凭receipt就可以让公司
match，二是是否需要该网站有用于tax deduction凭证的tax ID。一个简洁有效的方法
是先在自己找好的网站捐个5刀10刀小额，看是不是马上收到网上收据，然后立马发收
据给hr问这个捐款是否能match。如果答复match了，再捐自己想要数目并转发新的大额
收据给hr。如果不能马上收到收据，当然换另一个可以立马出具收据的网站。

是，match就是指你捐多少，公司就捐多少，这样就可以翻倍。
学校确实我还没看到关于是否有match的先例，你可以发信问问吧，一是human
resources，二是国际学生办公室，三是自己所在院系，研究所，都没有的话可以问问
研究生院，校长办公室。。。或者本地本州搜一搜有没什么charity organization慈善
机构。

学校里的是否能找到match的地方不一定，但肯定可以把号召募捐的信通过国际学生办
