I had five phone interviews so far. The first one is a Big Pharma. It was
the best interview that I had so far. However, they didn't give me the on-
site interview. Their ad is still on the Job board. Anyway, I learned not to
trust my feeling.

The second one is a small pharma. It was my fault. I didn't prepare and had
the interview in the post office! I couldn't hear her. I knew that I was out
after we finished. I am still very regretful.

The third one required me to work in Canada. No way.

The fourth is a big pharma. I am still waiting for the answer.

The fifth is a biotech. Before this phone interview, I knew it was
impossible for me to get an one-site chance. We do the different researches.
However, HR scheduled one phone interview for me with the hiring manager
and I couldn't refuse to get a chance to learn a new area.

I didn’t have any on-site interview. Please bless!

Bless. We have many pharm guys here, they will give you a lot of suggestions.
My two cents here, for the 5th one, if I were u, I will be more positive.
"We do the different researches." you may still get a chance (assuming you
have PhD).

So? For most of chemists, what they are doing in Pharma have nothing to do
with what they did in grad school.
Even biotech start to make small molecules.
